The morning of September 19 has brought a huge shock for GTA (Grand Theft Auto) as over 90 gameplay videos of GTA 6 have been leaked online and are now being widely shared throughout social media platforms.

The hacking is allegedly claimed by a user named ‘teapotuberhacker’ on GTAForums who was also involved in the recent Uber data leak. Rockstar Games is the developer of the games series.

The GTA fans have been waiting for the version for years, which has been leaked now. Apparently, GTA V was released over a decade ago and the player of the popular open-world franchise have been waiting to see the release of the next version, GTA VI. Now the leaked videos are widely being shared across the platforms.

The alleged major leak has now reportedly revealed crucial and important details about the upcoming GTA 6.

The leak includes characters and features of the game. However, some reports claim the leaked footage to be from the older version, on the hand, some have noted that the game which is leaked is running on RTX 3060Ti and RTX 3080, which indicates that the setup is not older than 2 years. Also, some reports have validated the authenticity of the leaked footage.

The hacker who claimed to be involved in the recent Uber hack has said that they could get access to the videos by getting access to the Rockstar Games employee’s Slack account. Rockstar Games has already started the process of filing requests of taking down the GTA 6 gameplay footage from the platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

The company had recently started rolling out credits on the GTA and GTA V online pages changing the title to ‘Thank You’ which indicated that the company might take down the development of GTA V considering the upcoming version of the GTA installment.

In one of the videos posted online, which is also a playable game, a character could be seen on the ‘Vice City Metro’ train indicating that the setup of the game is in Miami, similar to the GTA: Vice City released in 2002. The videos are being shared widely.

In terms of Uber, the hacker had allegedly posed as a coworker tricking an Uber employee to share and disclose the login credentials. Although, the mobility major company denied any loss of sensitive data of users, that include trip history and other information. However, the amount of the compromised data remains unknown.

Apart from that, the data circulated through social media and other mediums indicate that the hacker was able to access Uber's internal systems which are considered 'important'. Also, according to the standard sources, the accessed data by the hacker contains critical financial information as well.

In another clip, a playable female protagonist named Lucia could be seen stealing a restaurant, visiting a strip club, and also having a poolside conversation. Reportedly, the video suggests that the game will take place in Vice City. Posting the videos online, the user claimed responsibility for hacking Uber as well.
