Do you ever wonder why the Google Doodle on Google’s homepage keeps changing or has a play button? The company’s policy is to keep its users connected to the important events of the day by staying updated with what’s going on in the world. On 30 September 1998 Google launched its first Doodle game to commemorate the “Burning Man” festival.

Following the success of their first Doodle Game, Google began to change the homepage doodle according to the events or festivals of the day or week. For instance, recently, in the midst of Valentine’s week, the Doodle showed two hamsters in a heart that’s placed between “GOOGLE”. To begin the game – the hamsters are on the ends of a broken path that you must fix. As soon as you connect all the misplaced paths, both hamsters run to the middle, and a “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!” Flashes on our screen. Normally, most of these games last between two and thirty minutes, but the time can get extended based on your “Gaming Skills”.

In this article, we have listed popular Google Doodle Games for you and how to play them.

1. Pac-Man

How could we possibly forget this game? Google celebrated its 30th anniversary on May 21, 2010, reminding us all of the importance of this game in our lives. If you haven’t already figured out how to play this game, let us tell you how. You will have to use your arrow keys to control the game. Your Pac-Man is required to eat all the dots spread across the created path. The larger dots on the course will grant you the ‘superpower’ to consume the ghosts. But remember if you are not protected by the shield of the big dot you are not supposed to go near the ghosts or else they will eat you and the game will end.

2. Quick, Draw!

Yet another game that is intriguing. This game was launched in November 2016, and promotes the neural network that guesses what we draw on our devices. So you have 20 seconds to draw a specific word, and the Neural Network tries to predict what you’re attempting to design. When you finish the set of six words, you will be given the results of your performance and will be able to compare it to what millions of other people have drawn. The more you draw in the game, the more AI works to grasp the numerous symbols linked with the word globally.

3. Cricket

When the ICC hosted its Champions Trophy in 2017, Google invited all fans to participate in the Cricket Doodle Game. This game is quite addicting and may be played during a short break. It’s one of those games that appears simple but may quickly become challenging, but it’s a lot of fun to play. To play this game you simply have to click on the bat below the pitch. Our highest total is 52 runs. Let us know your highest score in the comments.

4. Garden Gnome

Garden Gnome, like the famous game “Angry Birds,” functions on the same concept. To grow as many flowers as possible, you must throw the garden Gnome as far as possible. The game also allows you to select from six different kinds of Gnomes with varying performance tiers. This game was released in 2018 to educate the public about the significance of Garden Gnomes in every garden and how their creation has evolved.

5. Baseball

Launched on the 4th of July 2019, The Google Doodle Baseball game is yet another interesting game. This game aims at celebrating US Independence Day by depicting a typical American Gametime fun. All the players in the game are associated with America’s all-time favorite snacks. P.s This game can hook you for a longer time than you think.

6. Halloween

Another crazy Google Doodle Halloween 2020 game requires you to draw ghosts’ symbols to defeat them. The game consists of six challenging levels that will test your quick response skills to save Feline Momo, the main character. The fictional character Feline Momo is a freshman at Magic Cat Academy Doodle who is learning to master magic spells. The 2020 version is an upgrade of the Google Doodle Halloween 2016. You may play either and let us know which one you like more!

Who doesn’t love pizzas? In celebration of Neapolitan “Pizzaiuolo” being added to the UNESCO Representative List of Humanity’s Intangible Cultural Heritage on 6 December 2021, Google released this game.
