When Peter gets caught while stealing the Orb in jail, he forms his own army called the Guardians of the Galaxy with fellow members like Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax to escape.

Ronan later snatches the Orb from the Guardians of the galaxy and then he reveals the power stone that can destroy all the living beings on Earth. Meanwhile, all the other ravagers, Nova Cops, and Guardians of the galaxy join hands to stop Ronan from destroying the Earth. In the following mission, Groot loses his life while saving his partners from the crash but he was born again from the sapling. Finally, Peter Quill was able to gain the power stone from Ronan and defeats him.

This film recorded huge success in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by crossing more than 770 million dollars worldwide becoming the largest superhero film of 2014.
