UAE (United Arab Emirates) officially declared its independence on the 2nd of December, 1971 from the British. After that, Abu Dhabi is declared the political and administrative capital of UAE. It is located on the island of the Persian Gulf on the central West Coast. The total population of Abu Dhabi as of 2022 is 1.5 million which is around 1,540,000. Abu Dhabi is the second largest population in the UAE. The latitude of Abu Dhabi is 24.466667 and the longitude of Abu Dhabi is 54.366669. 

There are many languages spoken in Abu Dhabi as well as in other states of UAE. The major population speaks Arabic and it is the official language of UAE. The majority of the population speaks English. The other language which is spoken by the people are Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu, Persian, Chinese, Malayalam, Tagalog, etc., In 2019, Hindi is declared the official court language after Arabic and English. Islam is the official religion of the UAE.

The weather in Abu Dhabi is mostly hot and warm for entire years. This climatic condition is also described as a hot desert climate. August is considered as the hottest month of the year with an average temperature of 35.5 o C which is 96 o F and the coldest month of the year is January with an average temperature of 18 degrees C which is 64 degrees F.

Abu Dhabi is the largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates. It occupies 84 percent of the landmass. It covers a total area of 67,340 sq. km. It is located in the northeastern part of the Persian Gulf in the Arabian Peninsula. The island is situated 250 meters away from the mainland. It has 200 islands and 700km of stretching long coastal lines. Abu Dhabi is located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf. It is bordered by the Sultanate of Oman to the east, Saudi Arabia to the west and the south, and the emirate of Dubai to the northeast. The country is covered entirely by huge sandy areas and salt flats.

There are 5 airports in Abu Dhabi. They are Abu Dhabi International Airport, AI Bateen Executive Airport, AI Ain International Airport, Sir Bani Yas Airport, and Delma Airport. These airports are used for traveling, exporting resources, importing resources, etc., These Airports are well maintained and considered as safest airports. All the security measures are implemented and hence people or passengers don’t need to panic about their travel.

There are 4 seaports in Abu Dhabi. They are Port Khalifa Port, Western Region Port, Musaffah Port, and Mina Zayed Port. These seaports are used for traveling, exchanging exports and imports, etc., Seaports are strengthening the business and contribute a lot to their capital GDP. 

Major Exports and Major Imports:

Every country’s revenue is majorly dependent on its exports. Abu Dhabi or the entire UAE is best at exporting the following resources or products to other countries. Some of the major exports are Crude Oil, Refined Petroleum, Gold, Pearl, Diamonds, etc., These export resources contribute billions of dollars to their GDP. 

Every country has a legal business agreement with other countries to have imported from other countries. The following products or resources are the major imports from other countries. They are Machinery Equipment, Metals, Automobile Equipment, Textiles, Food, Chemicals, etc., These Imports and Exports happen through airways, seaways, and roadways. There are many airports and seaports in Abu Dhabi.
